The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a mid-range robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping capabilities, but is lacking some of the features of its more expensive sibling.
During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. However, like cheaper models, it doesn't use LIDAR to help you map your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including the dirt compartment integrated into the base of charging. This robot can recognize your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

You can choose a general clean that prioritizes the removal of large debris such as rice and cereal or go for two thorough maps of your area to ensure your entire home is properly arranged.
This robot vacuum is effective on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can pick up pet hair and also suck large items up. It doesn't lose its suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.
The S9+ is a new design from iRobot that concentrates on improving the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted, D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common, but we found it only marginally better than circular models.
iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with an advanced filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating within your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced that it's enough to justify the price tag.
Its smart navigation system uses a combination of sensors to remember your home's layout and vSLAM technology to map your interior. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, as well as set up virtual boundary markers, so it knows to avoid areas that require extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming, the Roborock Q Revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as efficient as those found on more expensive models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad.
It's only downside is the lack of a second brush for more thorough cleaning. But that's not a big deal for those who want to own one of the best robots available. The dust tank on the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors and filling it takes just two or three times, even when you've got the most dirt.
For the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. Its two mopping modes at the lowest that are less aggressive than the high-powered ones, create minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch TV without distraction. If it encounters a wall or piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and moves along.
The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical garbage into the bin hidden from view and also washes and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is adept at notifying you when something requires attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled vacuuming session that was cancelled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or if you need to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac was also one of the top performers in my test and was able to remove debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can even remove wet spills, though I recommend wiping them dry with a cloth before sending the robot into.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that has all the features you can want. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, plus a rotating mop that scrubs tough stains. It also has an auto-cleaning station that automatically washes and cleans the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also has a new sensor system that can better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.
The most significant improvement to the ECOVACS the X1 Deebot is its modern, sleeker design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. Although it's still quite large--it's more than two feet in height and depth and weighs almost four pounds--the robot and its base are less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot j7.
This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has faster battery charging and can handle a complete cleaning of about 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris and is easier to empty when needed.
Lastly it is worth noting that the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and an assistant voice that works offline, allowing you to use it even if you're not home. It also has a smart routing function that allows it to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead of following a predetermined route.
The X2 Omni is the most effective robot at mopping. Its mop pads that rotate remove tough stains and its motor generates lots of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is also top-notch, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a huge battery that can last for weeks between charges, and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on an ordinary robot.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a high-end model that offers a number of features that aren't often found on robots of this price. It is able to create detailed floor maps and identify different types of flooring. It's also one of the few robots that automatically clean and dry its mop pad. best affordable robot vacuum are nice, but they also make the L10s more of a class of luxury. This could mean it's more expensive than what homeowners want.
It is designed to look like a contemporary floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim machine with an elegant white finish enhanced by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a large bumper, which helps protect the vacuum and furniture from damage when moving through the home. In the pane in the front is an additional navigation technology with sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top, there's a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. By pressing this button, you can activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The left and right buttons open the app's settings where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technology to map out your home. This helps the robot vacuum and mop effectively without getting stuck. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4% debris from our test on hard floors, and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. It was not as efficient in removing sand from the hard flooring or quaker oats off the carpet.
